PSU offers the following two different organic chemistry sequences:

1. Ch331 & 332: Elements of Organic Chemistry I, II (two terms). The laboratory course to accompany this sequence is Ch327 & Ch328.

2. Ch334, 335 & 336: Organic Chemistry I, II, III (three terms). The corresponding laboratory sequence is Ch337 & Ch338, or Ch337 & Ch339 for Chemistry and Biochemistry majors.

Consult with your program advisor if you are uncertain about which sequence is appropriate for you. Pre-med, pre-dental and other pre-health students should also contact CLAS Health Sciences advisors for organic chemistry requirements.

Concurrent enrollment in the lab courses is recommended by not required.  For some degree programs, the lab courses are not required.  Consult your advisor about the organic chemistry lab requirement of your degree program.
