Dean Atkinson

Personal Details – Sorry they are so skimpy, I haven’t had a chance to really devote much time to this.

My wife (Dr. Elizabeth Atkinson) is a professor at Linfield College. We have two beautiful little boys who keep us really busy a lot of the time.

Since both of us are professors, you can guess that we like college. In fact, we met while in graduate school at the University of Arizona. We both like teaching a lot (I won a John Elliot Allen award for the Outstanding Chemistry Teacher in 2000, which I am really proud of.) And we also like to work with students on research. I supervise (or collaborate with) four graduate students right now, three prospective PhD students and one MS.
